Security Guard Classes - Handcuff | Baton | OC Spray

Securus Group is pleased to announce that we are offering a Handcuffing Course/OC Spray/Expandable Baton Course for Security Personnel and Law Enforcement Officers. Participants of this training course will be provided with the knowledge, skills and materials to effectively state the purpose and use of handcuffs, OC Spray, and Expandable Batons; demonstrate use of each tool; understand the legal ramifications concerning the use of each tool; and identify officer safety issues regarding the proper carry and application of the intermediate weapons. Topics Include:

Constitutional and Legal Issues; Effectively state the purpose of intermediate weapons and their purpose; demonstrate the use of each weapon; Understand the legal ramifications concerning the use of intermediate weapons; and Identify officer safety issues regarding the
proper carry and application of each of the weapons.

Miscellaneous:

Students should wear comfortable clothing. This class involves a medium amount of physical exertion. You will be learning how to apply handcuffs to suspects in a standing, kneeling, and lying down (prone) position. No shorts are allowed. Students are encouraged to bring water.
