We then print directions to the most current address and dispatch the order to the first document services professional. Finding the most current address before attempting to serve can save days.

What are Document Services?

Florida State Statutes and the Florida Rules of Civil Procedures regulate who can serve court documents. The Florida Rules of Civil Procedures states "Service of process may be made by an officer authorized by law to serve process, but the court may appoint any competent person not interested in the action to serve the process. When so appointed, the person serving process shall make proof of service by affidavit promptly and in any event within the time during which the person served must respond to the process.

Failure to make proof of service shall not affect the validity of the service. When any process is returned not executed or returned improperly executed for any defendant the party causing its issuance shall be entitled to such additional process against the unserved party as is required to effect service". Securus Group Document Services professionals are licensed to perform such duties for any Florida government entity.

All orders are processed and first attempt is made within 24 hours of receipt. Most other process servers only promote first service attempt within 3-5 days, unless it’s rush service. Our process servers work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The best times to find someone at home usually is not 9am to 5pm. Our experience leads us to believe that document service is best served in the mornings, late at night, or on the weekends. If you need service immediately, we can pick up your papers at your office and make our first attempt to serve them within 12 hours, for an additional fee.
